School-Based Mental Health
Supporting students’ emotional well-being where it matters most — in their schools.
Our School-Based Mental Health program brings high-quality mental health services directly into the school environment. By collaborating with educators, families, and school staff, we help students navigate emotional challenges, enhance their coping skills, and thrive academically and socially.
Children have always faced challenges that are, in some ways, similar to those their parents have encountered and, in many ways, different. One constant is the need to pursue well-being for all our children, especially as challenges become more complex and nuanced over time. We must strive to understand firsthand how they experience these challenges and the best ways to support their individual needs. One effective method is to meet them where they are and enhance resources to provide opportunities for them to become resilient and productive members of society. Schools serve as a gathering place for various professionals who work together to create scaffolding for our children, ensuring no child feels alone while navigating their social and emotional world. School-based mental health is a growing field that has enabled parents, communities, and schools to collaborate with a common goal: to support children during their moments of crisis and celebrate them during their moments of success.
